The short strap is recommended for small bodies wearing the Cosmos as a fanny pack.

The long strap is recommended for larger bodies who like to wear their bag as a long crossbody.

Made from full grain cowhide, with solid brass hardware and a canvas lining.

Full grain leather includes the top layer of skin, and has not been sanded or buffed. It is the highest quality leather as far as strength and durability. This means that the leather tends to have some markings and inconsistencies in texture. In the name of individuality and sustainability, we embrace this as a feature of the leather, and do not cut around these markings unless it compromises quality. So texture and markings may vary slightly between bags.

Please note: While colour transfer is uncommon with our products, some dye transfer is possible from the straps if your bag is wet or subject to extreme humidity. Be mindful if your bag becomes wet when worn with light coloured clothing. This is more likely to happen when bags are new, with use any colour transfer should subside.  

Our bags are made with high quality full grain leathers that require minimal care, so you shouldn’t need to do much to keep your bag looking great. Wipe down your bag and strap with a damp cloth from time to time. To keep your bag in the best possible shape, condition every 6 month or so. A quick once over with any quality leather balm or conditioner will do the trick. We like to use natural conditioners that contain beeswax or carnauba.
